UX Designer and Developer

As a UX Designer and Developer I designed and built web pages and applications, analysing user interfaces and integrating user-friendly features into every interface.

Responsibilities

• Building interactive prototypes and mock-ups to showcase solutions for biometric devices and Argus TrueID biometric Web App.
• Code refactoring of different sections of the Web App solution.
• Working with Axure / XD Adobe / Figma wireframing / designing tools.
• Working alongside in an agile development team.

At Argus TrueId a web app is used to build the templates that appear on the terminals. The templates are built in the web app content editor functionality. This section needed an upgrade.

After studying the user journey of the user (designer/content editor) who was creating the templates, we agreed that there were weak functionalities that were making the user wast to much time.

And the follow list of improvements have been accomplished:

• Preview has been made resizable, so if the template needs to be edited on a large or small screen the full template is always going to be visible.
• Dropdown and save buttons were displayed hidden on the screen taking some time for the user to find out how to save or change the screen, or frustration to find out later that they were working on the wrong template.
• Panels have the functionality now to change size so users now can see more of the html code that they are creating
• Images can be search now
• Components can be drag and drop to any panel, and the html is editable, more components can be added or removed according the client.
